Lindsey is truly the best at what she does!! From our first conversation I knew she would be such a great partner for our wedding, she immediately got the vibe of what we wanted and then truly ran with it. She came to the table with such great ideas and suggestions and then executed on it all flawlessly!!! The florals really were a huge star in our tent/reception, they matched the vibrant energy of our party perfectly. Also, Lindsey is simply a great person. She was always kind, accommodating and fun to work with – on our wedding day she felt like a friend who was simply setting up the most gorgeous florals around our venue . We are so lucky to have worked with Lindsey for our June wedding, and even more so to have had her gift with florals be such a cornerstone of our day. With minimal decor, I knew the flowers for our wedding would have to pack a punch. I had a very specific vision: a wild, organic, midsummer night's dream garden-feel, and she absolutely nailed it. The color palette was perfect - so dreamy and effortless - and every piece felt so thoughtful and personalized. She truly took my inspiration to heart and brought it to life in a way that exceeded my expectations. My mom, who’s an avid gardener, was blown away and couldn’t stop raving about the flowers, from the bouquets to the installations. My personal favorite element was my husband's boutonniere, which included the most adorable tiny white strawberry that I literally made our photographer take a picture of. A hanging installation above the dance floor was what I had my heart set on, so I set out on a mission to find someone that could bring my vision to life. Superb Artistry! Lindsey crafted the most gorgeous arrangement of flowers I have ever seen for my wedding! The array of colors, shapes and the different types of flowers she used were so perfect together. She made me the wildflower bouquet of my dreams and even included HUGE roses that added to the romantic feel I was going for. In addition to my bouquet and bridesmaid bouquets we had centerpieces for the tables, ceremony tree installations and another installation across the top of a neon sign for our lounge area. Our theme was “Love is a Wild Thing” and the arrangements sure were WILD! You will have to take a look at the pictures because words just don’t do her work justice. Lindsey absolutely nailed the vision I had for my wedding without having to go back and forth on design. When I met with her in person to do a mock-up, the styling was already perfect. Besides her great talent and amazing professionalism, Lindsey is an all around great person. Her lovely spirit and kindness are clearly evident from the first interaction. She was a joy to work with! Working with Fern and Fawn was the best decision we made for our wedding. We got married in an industrial space and wanted flowers that would soften the space. I knew we didn’t want standard arrangements or anything with roses, but beyond that, I had no idea what we wanted our flowers to look like. I gave Lindsey very vague instructions about colors, and my love for big, fluffy flowers, and we worked out that she would create two different installations that would hang against the stark white walls of our venue. Lindsey is an artist. What she created was more than I could have ever imagined. She made a beautiful vine arc that we used as our photo booth backdrop, she wrapped some stark columns in the space with vines, and she filled the room with beautiful bud vase arrangements that smelled as amazing as they looked. She also decorated a beautiful birch arbor for our ceremony, and put together our bouquets and boutonnières. My bouquet was the most beautiful bouquet I’ve ever seen - my biggest regret is not planning for bouquet preservation services before the wedding! But the piece de resistance was a gorgeous floral arc that Lindsey weaved for us and that she hung against a blank white wall. I’d seen lots of pictures of Lindsey’s work, but I wasn’t prepared for how amazing it was in person. It totally took my breath away, and I went back to the spot in the venue ten times over to take it all in. Lindsey is also super kind and was so patient with us, especially with some very last minute logistical changes that we threw at her the day before the wedding. She took it all in stride and made it so that I could breathe again and enjoy the weekend. She grows her own flowers and sources others from local flower farms, so you know everything is fresh and sustainable, and these flowers - wow. They were without comparison. So unbelievably gorgeous and I am now head over heels in love with dahlias thanks to Lindsey!
